Careers

Two open roles. One standard.

We are a small e-commerce operation running several online stores end to end. Most of the routine work is automated, so the people we hire spend their time on the part that needs judgement: a customer who needs a real answer, and an ad account that needs a decision.

  • RemoteThe work happens online. You choose where.
  • Small teamNo layers. You work directly with the person who decides.
  • Written cultureChecklists, playbooks and a daily log instead of meetings.
  • Full-time or part-timeTell us what you are looking for and we will talk.

Customer Service Specialist

You are the person our customers actually talk to. Orders, deliveries, returns and questions come in by email; you answer them clearly, solve what can be solved, and chase what cannot wait. When a shipment stalls or an address looks wrong, you are the one who acts before the customer has to ask.

What you will do

  • Answer customer emails across our stores with a clear, friendly and honest reply, in English.
  • Handle returns, refunds and delivery problems from first message to closed ticket.
  • Work the service board: open cases, stalled shipments, suppliers and carriers that need a nudge.
  • Spot patterns. A question that keeps coming back is a product page, a listing or a process we should fix, and you tell us.
  • Keep the tone of every store consistent, so a customer never notices they are talking to a small team.

What we look for

  • You write well. Short, warm, precise, no filler. Show us a reply you are proud of.
  • You have handled customer conversations before, in e-commerce, hospitality or support.
  • You follow through. An open case stays yours until it is closed, not until it is quiet.
  • You are comfortable with a helpdesk, tracking pages and a spreadsheet, and you learn tools quickly.
  • You are available on weekdays and you can work without someone watching over your shoulder.

Open roleRemoteMeta ads, e-commerce

Media Buyer

You run paid social for our stores on Meta. Products, creatives and copy come out of a tested process; your job is to build the campaigns properly, read the numbers every day, and decide what gets more budget, what gets fixed and what gets switched off. The tooling does the repetitive part. You do the thinking.

What you will do

  • Build and launch campaigns for new products and collections from our planning sheet, following the build checklist to the letter.
  • Pick creatives on evidence: which images and videos have earned their place, and which format each product calls for.
  • Write and adapt ad copy inside our approved copy families, clean and on brand.
  • Run the daily read: cost per click, return on ad spend, break-even, then kill, hold or scale with a written reason.
  • Watch the market. Competitor ads, seasonal peaks, formats that are starting to work.

What we look for

  • You have run Meta ad accounts for an online store and can walk us through one, numbers included.
  • You are precise. A wrong link, a cropped image or a missed start date costs money, and you catch those before launch.
  • You decide on data and you report honestly, including the campaigns that did not work.
  • You have an eye for creatives and you can say why an ad works, not just that it does.
  • You write clear English and you are comfortable working from playbooks and a shared sheet.

How to apply

One email is enough.

No forms, no portal. Send an email to info@wirkretail.nl with the role in the subject line and we will read it. Every application gets a reply.

  1. 01

    Tell us who you are

A few lines about you, what you have done, and why this role. A CV or a link to your work is welcome, but the email itself is what we read first.

  2. 02

    Show one piece of work

Customer service: a reply you wrote that you are proud of. Media buyer: an account or campaign you ran, with the numbers and what you learned.

  3. 03

    We talk

If it fits, we set up a call to walk through the work, how we run things and what the first weeks would look like.
